Patrick Massey began his yoga journey as a way to complement his fitness routine, seeking greater flexibility and relief from back pain. What he didn’t anticipate was how deeply yoga would impact his life. Initially drawn to the solitary, introspective nature of the practice, Patrick quickly discovered that yoga not only helped him build physical strength, but also challenged him to grow socially, expressively, and emotionally.
As a certified 200 E-RYT instructor, Patrick is known for his ability to connect breath with movement in a way that creates flow and presence in every class. He encourages students to focus on the breath as a tool for grounding and mindfulness. Patrick’s playlists are often infused with the soulful beats of Cuñaq – Mose Remix, setting a relaxed yet energizing tone that complements his teaching style.
Outside of yoga, Patrick enjoys a variety of activities that allow him to unwind and engage in his passions. Whether lifting weights, going for long walks while discovering new music, or driving with the windows down and the music turned up loud, Patrick values moments of solitude and expression. A lover of math and problem-solving, he is especially proud of earning his engineering degree.
